The A3962 series (compatible with the JST-VH series) is an SMT surface-mount connector designed for high current carrying capacity and high voltage resistance. This car headlight bulb connector adopts a standardized 3.96 mm pitch and supports 2–16 pin configurations. It features a rated current of 7.0 A AC/DC, a rated voltage of 250 V AC/DC, and a dielectric withstand voltage of 1500 V AC for 1 minute, enabling efficient transmission of high-power electrical energy.


Its surface-mount design is compatible with automated mass production. The solder pads are made of brass with tin plating and can withstand the high temperatures of reflow soldering. The housing is manufactured from flame-retardant engineering plastic, while the terminals and solder pads offer high conductivity as well as excellent oxidation and wear resistance. The operating temperature range is -25℃~ +105℃. Fully compatible with JST-VH series interfaces, the A3962 series is suitable for high-power connection requirements in automotive electronics, industrial automation, medical equipment, consumer electronics, and other fields.
